ランシング市との友好都市交流

第３回ランシング市短期留学生派遣（H15.7.25～H15.8.4)

　坂出市の大学生５名（男１名・女４名）がランシング市へ派遣されました。一週間，ホームステイを体験しながら市役所訪問や郊外への小旅行など充実した日々を過ごしました。
　アメリカの家庭で家族の一員として暖かいもてなしを受け，大自然を目の当たりにし，ランシングのあと訪れたニューヨークでは世界都市の雰囲気を体感しました。驚きと感動を通して，それぞれの学生が今回の派遣に確かな手応えを得たようです。

The 3rd Lansing short term students program (from Sakaide) July 25 to August 4, 2003

College students from Sakaide(1 boy and 4 girls) were sent to Lansing this year. For a week, they spent their days with host families, visiting city hall, and taking short trip to the suburbs. They were received warmly by their American families, and they were able to see vast nature with their own eyes. Later, during their visit of New York City, they were also able to experience a metropolitan atmosphere. Each student seemed to have a successful experience full of surprises and excitement.
